Hi.

Recently I got my first DSLR camera and a couple of starter lenses with the aim of getting into photography. I am an absolute beginner with photography and post processing so here is one of my first attempts at photographing and editing a car.

Please give any tips or critique as much as possible so I know what to re-try next time.

(Please forgive the heavy snow)
I've included the original-unedited shot so that you can see where I've gone with it and if its and improvement or not.

i really like the edited shot. the only advice i can give is the fence in the background is a little distracting. so possibly a different location for the shoot.

other than that i like it :D keep up the good work.

Also try different angles but i'm sure you did ;)
 
for me the black and white version works the best, but i am always a fan of mono
 
It's a shot of a static car in snow - doesn't do anything for me. I was hoping for an action shot of this 4 x 4 ploughing through heavy snow or something - a bit of excitement! Sorry, this is dull and no amount of photoshop work is going to wake it up.
