Evening All,

While away on holiday with the family a few weeks ago I took the opportunity to try and get some photos while down Lands End. With a three and eighteen month year old in tow, anything more than a grab shot was going to be impossible (I even forgot to step the lens down so it was shot at f3.5).

I think this maybe the first landscape / seascape image I've taken since the start of the pandemic. Over the past 18 months I found I'd completely lost interest in all my hobbies (including photography). This image - while not the greatest - has re-invigorated that enthusiasm.

First of many more, I'm sure.

Always good to get out. Lands End is a great location. Even if you don’t think you nailed it it’s still a good image. One to go back and improve another time.

You aren’t alone, I’ve felt the same as you over the past 18 months. I’ve not had the enthusiasm to go out to take photos. When it was the deer rut I didn’t go out as much as I had done over the last few years. Its even got to a point where I’ve felt I should I cut down kit value as it wasn’t being used. Im going to try to get out over the next few months.
