I came across this a few days ago and was wondering if anyone on here has seen this and if so what did you think?

Im looking for something thats going to teach me about landscape photography, explaining how to setup and what equipment to use for each shot in different locations rather than just a story type dvd following someone around, if that makes sense.

Thanks

looks good to me - joes books are excellent, and he's very good live so it ought to stand to reason that his dvd will be too

that'll be going on my xmas list me thinks

There was a DVD taster in Amatuer Photographer a couple of weeks ago (With Landscape in Mind from Joe Cornish and Travelling Light from Charlie Waite).. you've reminded me that I haven't watched it yet - now in the DVD player.

If you want to have a look at it Matt, PM me your address..

My copy came by post on Saturday and i only got to view the full hour long footage last night and i must say it goes by very quick.
I liked the industrial landscape he was capturing in Teeside, his use mainly of the large or medium format Linhoff camera with Phase One wasn't explained much, but pretty interesting compared to a DSLR which made it look simple in comparison.
The narration by Joe Cornish was very interesting with some nice soft background music, his thoughts and outlook on certain landscapes and techniques were definately worth a watch :)
I must admit i was swayed into buying a copy of the DVD by the chance of a one to one workshop worth several hundred pounds, so £22 isn't too bad if you consider it like as a raffle ticket with a very good prize.

I was left wanting more....much more. 120 minutes that I greatly enjoyed.

He's really great photographer and his explanations are very helpful.

Cheers.

Thanks for your opinions everyone, I think I will give it a go:thumbs:
