I'm going up to the Borders later in the month (Kelso in particular) and wondered if anyone has any recommendations in the area for a bit of landscape photography? It's not somewhere I've spent much time, so don't really know what to expect!

Thanks.

Well heading East your not a million miles from the coastal photo opportunities of Bamburgh Castle / Lindisfarne etc

Heading West towards Moffat there are places like the Devils Beeftub etc

Jedburgh has a good Abbey ruin, Hadrian's wall not far away.

You're also not far from the Cheviots, and the Pennine way ends a few miles from Kelso at Kirk Yetholm - lovely views. College Valley is good as well, just north of Wooler. if you go, you need to park at Hethpool - they only let 12 cars per day further up th valley
