laptop brightness

my head hurts.. is it really this simple..

On my laptop the pictures look proper exposed but on my PC they look a tad under exposed.. having checked with others the pc is right..

so slightly under on the laptop... do i simply turn the brightness down on the laptop forcing me to lighten the pics..

a little more...i am shooting tethered at football/rugby under floodlights so the camera doesnt always show the correct exposure in the thingy... but on laptop they look bright..

i thought laptop screen was already quite dull though hmmm.

You could try that if you like.

You don't live that far away if you fancy a trip to Preston you could always borrow my Huey pro and calibrate both of them.

screens are often too bright for photography, laptop often don't have brightness settings but a back-light when calibrating any screen the first thing you have to do is get the brightness and contrast right

A laptop being portable, you could always pop round when you're next in the area and I'll calibrate it for you whilst you have a brew !
