Not sure on 1 might be to cluttered with the background

I like them, 2 and 3 show the colour in the feathers nicely. I think your right about the 1st shot, the dead reed is a little distracting but the pose is good

Cheers chaps, couldn't make my mind up with the first. The more I look the more I am drawn to the dying reed, to distracting.
