I was asked to photograph this lovely dog today. I really wanted to get this dog in a natural environment and today with a little snow and an empty golf course only 50 metres from my home it was a perfect chance to do the shoot-

She is 5 years old and very active which helped with the pics. I know the whites are a bit blown but i will mess about with them in the morning-

She does seem to have very prominent 'whites' of the eyes doesnt she?!

Water spaniel?

I believe its a Blue Roan Spaniel and she has the best nature i have ever seen in a dog.

no4 for me although they are all good i just like the way his eyes are looking up at you

Four is an outstanding shot.

I like the third one but the shallow depth of field that takes the nose out of focus just looses it for me.

Thanks folks, the woman who wanted the images is happy with the ones she got and i have a few more to do as well so hoping to get some better ones in the coming weeks.
