Large Red Damselfly

Not sure about the 'large' bit this was only 30mm long (Same Damselfly, it was hanging around my pond all day).

If your viewfinder is correctly adjusted with the diopter correction then seeing the facets of the eyes should be very easy even with subjects down to one mm or less with a decent lens of course. These damselflies are large and very easy to see the focus on the eye, it takes some practice but once you see it once or twice it becomes second mature to find perfect focus, hitting the shutter button at the same moment is another matter!
