Hi Guys,

Basically, which lens would you suggest to take to Paris, a 24-105 or the 17-55 2.8?

The 2.8 is appealing due to it being faster, but I am guessing that most photo opportunities will be outside, therefore will the 2.8 be much beneficial over the f4 L? Or, are there a lot of places in Paris that I would want to take pictures inside? And obviously, the 24-105 is appealing as I can leave my 55-250 at home and just take this and a 10-22.

Thank you for your advice, I promise this will be the last question!

If you have a 10-22 I would say the 24-105. The extra reach will really help with close up architecture etc. I have just come back from Prague and found my 18-50 superb for the wide stuff but just not long enough.

I'd prefer not to Darren.

I already have the 18-55 and the 55-250, so I could take one of those if needed.

Used my 24-70 for almost every shot I took there a couple of weeks ago (on FF), so 17-55 would be my choice from the options offered on APS-C.
