Lastolite Hilite

There were a couple in the classifieds last week. May still be there.

Short answer though, there's no comparable but cheaper product.
 
If it helps, HiLites are free-standing and you don't need stands or a background support system. You can also use it as a regular background with the BottleTop attachments. Might save a few quid if you look at it that way.

But no, there is nothing else comparable for less money.
 
I just bought one off here second hand, a 6x7 for £80. Fair enough I had a 150 mile round trip to collect it, but there are bargains to be had if you look hard enough ans wait long enough.

Not so keen on the floor as it turns out grey - although easily edited in Lightroom
 
There is a copy floating about.

No idea what it is like. I was bidding on some sort of replica on ebay when it got pulled as lastolite complained, they have the patent on the design.
