As some of you followed my last drone build on the forum, I was going to build another and it has finally at first flight test the other day, it's not 100% complete as it has fixed landing gear and no video transmitter or gimbal yet.

It will have an analogue transmitter and retractable landing gear along with a zenmuse z15-5d gimbal.

It's taken a long time to do as I have been super busy with my main business ( printing and picture framing ).

I was going to build a drone capable of lifting a Red / full size dslr with lens, and after much research an part finding this it it, as far as possible it's been built with weight saving in mind, ( don't ask what it weighs as I haven't weighed it yet ).

It's a big beast with a motor to motor centres diagonally of 1.1m and a blade tip to tip of 1.6m.

Fantastic. I would love a drone but there are three RAF bases where I live so the whole area is a no fly zone.
