LCE Southampton Show

Thanks for the heads up, might toddle along myself!

Not sure how special the special show-only offers will be.

When I was checking D7000 pricing, they told me they expect the show price to be £10-£20 less than the normal Southampton shop price.

I expect most of the offers will be on used items they've had for a while.

You never know.

Well it is a free event and a free sensor clean for one camera per entrant that can't be bad...

I agree the deals probably won't be spectacular but if you're local it's probably worth an amble along.

Drat, I am out most of that day and when I get back I have to deliver some paintings for an exhibition so can't even make the evening.

To be honest, I found it a bit disappointing when I went a couple of years ago, although I did buy a Lowepro backpack and picked up a few freebies. There were about twenty tables set out in one large-ish room, each covered in a different type of kit such as tripods, bags, Canon, Nikon, lighting, etc.

It's a chance to get your hands on some of the latest kit, particularly seeing as Canon bailed out of Focus, but don't expect bargains galore as it is only LCE selling.
