Le Mans, Anyone Else Going?

Per the title, anyone else coming to Le Mans this year?

I'll be there, a group of us go every year, we're heading down overnight Wednesday, I'm passenger in a Ferrari 360 Spider, staying at Tertre Rouge.

Some places you can get really close to the track so it's not 100% essential but of course take one if you got one.

You don't need a huge long lens, most of my shots last year were between 180mm and 250mm, I took a 100-400 but didn't use the very long end, this time I'm taking a 70-200 and 1.4 converter.

1D Mk2 with 70-200 F4 IS & 1.4 converter if required
1Ds with 24-105 F4 IS
8 Batteries, loads of cards
430exii just in case
Cleaning kit (hurricane blower, arctic butterfly and loupe)
Thinktank belt kit
Optech Pro strap and dual harness
Filters & holder

I think that's everything!

Heading over on the 2245 out of Portsmouth on Wednesday night.

Im going, 650 ferry friday, come back late Monday, 1st time. M3, M5, 911 C4S convoy.

Cannot wait!! Don't expect to get many great shots as many say its hard due to the fence etc, so will just enjoy the trip and snap a few bits ox exotic enroute etc.
