I found an interesting shiny black bug, so put my Sigma 105mm on and went in the garden to take a few shots. I then learnt that the Sigma will autofocus on my D300! Previously had to manual focus on the D60, so now well pleased

The D40, 40x and D60 do not have their own focusing motors. If you want auto-focus you have to buy lenses that have their own motor.

I had a play with a D300 the other day. What a piece of kit that is
