Will a Lee Big stopper seal ok in a hitech holder. Thinking of getting the big stopper but already have the Hitech holder just now and it would save me buying another holder.I just want to buy soon as i have some spare cash-even though i never used my Hitech 10 stop filter but its nice to have just in case.lol

I use the opposite, a hitech filter in a lee holder. WEX says the following on the Hitech big stopper:

Please note if you are using this filter in a Hitech Filter Holder you will need the 3mm gasket version. The Lee Foundation kit holder requires the 1.5mm gasket - this relates to the gap where the foam is seated on the filter.

I'm guessing your big stopper will have a 1.5mm gasket whereas the hitech holder will have a 2-3mm gap for the gasket so there may be a possibility of light leakage.
 
I use a Hi-Tech holder and a Lee Big Stopper and don't seem to have any problems. Try it first before you buy a new holder.

mmm, thats gets me thinking.Really didnt think it would have been ok but i might just try it before selling my own holder.Cheers...
