Lee filter storage (?)

I'm using 3 different Lee 100mm ND filters but find it a real pain when removing and putting them away into their tight plastic wallet style thin holders each time I use them.

Anyone have ideas of a better idea of how to store them? A soft pouch would be so much better, any ideas of how you store yours please?

Any advice/knowledge/experience welcome.

Lee do soft wraps, I use them, I can't link you as I'm on the phone but I'm 99% sure wex have them
 
I have the larger 10 filter version (in the also consider section of the above link) - works well, filters easy to store / remove, nicely protected.
 
I've got the Lee 3 filter pouch. In my opinion it doesn't really do the job. It's far too large - the right height but at least an inch wider than it needs to be - and much too deep. It's concertina - style so each pocket opens up to about an inch deep. Not what you really need for a filter that is about 1/8th inch thick!

It seems to me that no manufacturer either here or in the US makes a really practical 6"x4" filter pouch that you can slot on to your belt (or in your bag) and keeps the filters snug and well protected. Years ago I got a harness maker to make one up for me; it's been great but is on its last legs now. I'm desperately casting around for something to replace it.

If you find something do let me know!
 
Actually, I've just had a phone call from a harness maker who told me he would do me a made-to-measure pouch last July!

I reminded him a couple of weeks ago and he says he's got it in hand. I'll update this when he comes up with the goods. Or maybe start a new thread.
 
Sorry to hijack this thread, but can anyone confirm if one of these filter wraps (and three filters) would fit into one slot of the large Lee triple filter pouch? Seems like it should be possible, but wanted to check before buying.

Well he eventually came up trumps. It's a really useful piece of kit. Slightly padded, fits three filters perfectly, each in its own pocket, attaches to the waist strap of my bag. It cost me £55.

The Lee 3 filter pouch is much bigger than it needs to be so I'm fairly sure there would be room for three filters in each pocket. If that's what you mean.......
 
Yeah, that's what I meant. Ordered a couple from Wex which will give me some insulation on a few filters inside the main pouch. Thanks.
