They are very high quality, especially their ND and ND grads. No colour cast at all. Customer service is impressive too. I had an adaptor which broke and after a quick phone call a replacement was sent, no questions asked.

Pretty much as per happy haggis, they are very high quality, they dont produce any form of colourcast as they are truely neutral. I recieved great service and advice from Lee when I was purchasing.
Yes they cost a lot, but they are the best in my opinion.

There are several retailers for Lee filters, just Google. I don't know anyone that has a Big Stopper in stock. There are some on Ebay, but WHAT a price - up to £190 + P&P!! 
You might want to consider a 2 stop grad rather than a 3 stop and bear in mind that hard grads are better suited to flat horizons such as seascapes. Anything with a mountain for example, works better with soft grads.
