I was at an auction last year buying some tools for work when i saw a job lot of lee filters holders and rings.
I decided to bid thinking they would go cheaply but i ended up paying far more than i intended with the excuse that i would use them a great deal and my photos will be fantastic.

To date they are still unused and in the cases i brought them in, i was thinking of selling them but maybe i should give them a try and wondered if you guy's could advise as to what these are best used for as i think the reason i have not used them is purely that i am ignorant to what each one could do and when and how i should use them.
I assume being lee filters they are good and as such i should at least try them to see how i get on with them.

A list of what i have is here

Thanks in advance.

If you dont do lots of landscapes then i would think these were a little overkill, although if you can afford to have them sitting about then they are well worth keeping! im after a set of these and would fit very nicely in my bag!! lol..

I did hope some kind soul would be able to advise how the ND grads work as i really dont get it, going for a play tomorrow, keep an eye on the for sale section Fraggle101, if i dont get on with them i will probably be listing them lol.

You put the dark part of the filter over the bright part of the scene to balance out the brightness. Simple as that.
