Hi guys, has anyone got one of the above, personal experiences and use them regular? Just looking to see if its worth the vast £200 expense :gag: to save cleaning filters and front lens when its raining please or any other suggestions would be very helpful. Cheers Paul

Cheers Richard sadly use filters most of the time, but need some good reviews first. Andy that's one of my worries.

I thought about a Lee hood too, until I saw the price! Do they cut down lens flare too?

Yes, in strong side lighting, a lot. That's the main reason to use it - uncoated resin filters are prone to flare.

They're okay. Rigid enough not to sag or flop around but easy enough to adjust at the same time. Although it'll keep rain off the lens, I'd be inclined to drape something over the hood to keep it dry too...ie, use the use as a frame.

Bob
