My other thread was maybe a bit confusing, so heres a fresh more to the point post...
I'm after a new filter holder solution, previously had the smaller sized cokin jobs, and broken several of them as I tend to be a bit rough on kit (its more the places I go than anything else). So I'm searching out a tougher solution, something made from better plastic or preferably metal.
Needs to mount to a fairly wide lens for now (17mm & 78degrees, with a 67mm thread) and in a month or so time (10mm & 102degrees, with a 77mm thread). Seems the Cokin ones will intrude into the frame at those widths.
I've found LEE filters websites, then googled the prices and was a bit
£140 for a filter holder, a light grad, and a pouch, wow.
Are LEE filters REALLY that good? Or is there some mid priced alternative?
