Yes
Hi all, I've got a dilemma here and I could do with some advice.
I have 2 R bodies,2 motordrives,a spare focusing screen and 4 prime lenses from 35-560mm. I never use them now and as it would appear that Leica are only pandering to the M squad that I'll never have full use of these lenses again.
Now, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the glass in question, it's just practically obsolete for my purposes, as much as I loved using the kit, I was a dedicated E6 user and that's dead and buried really. Soooo, do I dump it for the standard pittance (against what I paid ) or just hold on, box what I can and store until a couple of decades have passed and attempt a realistic resell then?
I'm not too keen on getting a mount conversion for use on a canikon or Ricoh GRX etc either for that matter.
Anyone want to swap for an X pro1 !

What R lenses have you got? With Leitax mounts for Canon/Nikon and 36mp sensors like on the D800 the R glass really shines. There were rumours of a mirrorless Leica solution at Photokina 2012 for the R glass, so maybe wait until after September before doing anything drastic. As with most things Leica it will be worth something, maybe worth contacting a dealer and trading in vs an Xpro-1.

with a correct adapter they will fit on Sony NEX & no doubt m4/3 bodies too.
I believe that you can also get a mount conversion to Alpha & separate adapters for that as well.
