Takes me back, I used to work down there in Mikes boatyard back in the 80's. Bit different today.

yes -- all the Traditional Cockle Sheds' have GONE --it is a 'mess' there where they used to be.

Nice photos, I particularly like the last one f the cockle boats.

It's a nice area but does get very over run on hot summer days. The last cockle shed on the East side of the overpass got turfed out by the Peterboat pub a couple of years ago to make way for another chip vendor.
