Shooting through glass can be a mare, but you've got a good one there; well exposed and sharp. Pity the leaf wasn't a tad lower, but that can't be helped ... the expression is there though (y)

As Neil said it can be a right mare!
You did well especially if that was your first attempt.
Nice image (y)

Thanks both much appreciated!

The Lemurs were my favorites of the day for sure, a few more here which were the better of a novice bunch. Certainly didn't realise it would be quick so tricky shooting at the Zoo!

Many will say that the best zoo photos are those that don't look like zoo (or captive) photos .... but personally, I don't hold with that, although I do tend to aim for it.

# 2 & 3 are great examples of the contrary for me with the latter showing that eye contact isn't always essential ;)

Yeah I hear you there! very tricky when they are up against a brick wall! haha..

Thanks very much :) agree there - they are a bit more fun that the whole head on eyes locked pose :)

Great set the second portrait is excellent love the look on his face :)

Nice set - particularly like the first and last ones from your second post, I think you caught some great facial expressions there.
