Hi all this is my first post need some advise is it better to buy a canon 7d as i am using a 350d or buy some lenes like the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM Lens with a Canon EF 1.4x II Teleconverter Extender Mark II the len i am using is a canon EF 75-300 1:4-5.6 is i do a lot of moter sport cars bsb bikes grass track as well any advise would be helpfull

Welcome to the forum Steven. What's your budget for the lens / camera upgrade ?
 
Hi Stuart i can get a 7d for £655 new lens i can spend around £800 to £1000 like a 2.8 L usm canon would look on the items for sale but not got enough posts yet
 
Do you feel limited by the 350d or by the lens ? I doubt you'd go wrong with the 70-200 2.8 but I know it's a lot of money to spend on a lens. Have you considered the 100-400 (or a sigma 150-500 as a cheaper option) to give you a little more reach ?
 
Hi Stuart thanks for the info dont know alot about sigma lens dont know how good they are but i see that the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM Lens are going on the bay for about £700 plus.as i know these are good lens. Would it be better to upgrade my lens and then later on get the 7d as i will stay with canon setup.
