New to the forum and a shiny new D90 to use at my leisure, i wonder if you can give me some advice.

I have got a Nikon D90 with 18 - 105 lens and wonder of this would be compatible,

in essence i want to capture london buildings and wonder if this will assist, i realise that you get what you pay for and money is now tight due to my recent purchase, but advice is appreciated

your 18-105 should do just fine if you want to photo buildings.

This fish eye will give you a "special effect" photo which is certainly fun but will be limited in what you can/want to use it for.

on the other hand it's a cheap lens, and yes you do get what you pay for so don't expect much from it quality wise!

my advise would be save you cash for a better lens and do some research, look at sample photos of different lenses and talk to people first before spreading your hard earned cash about!

Arrived this morning, stupid question but how is it supposed to fit on to the d90, i am having a blond moment!!!

I think that it screws on to the front of your existing lens like a filter.
Your 18-105 is not listed in the advert however.
There should be filter sizes shown on the existing lens & the new adaptor, these have to be the same.
The advert says 52mm.

Thanks for that it appears i mis read the numbers 18 - 105 & 18 - 55 etc, will send it back for refund, cheers (i should have gone to specsavers):bonk:
