Lens calibration

Some of you may have seen my post about my recent purchase of a 7D and the slightly poor image quality. After reading the replies I have decided to progress and try to get the most this camera has to offer.

One thing I would like to do is calibrate my lenses properly to get the sharpest focus I can.

Normally I would spend time reading up about this but I have an event tomorrow so would like to get this done tonight in preparation.

Can someone please tell me the easiest/cheapest/most accurate way of doing this? Preferably in simple plain terms. I did have a quick look on Google but everything I came across seemed like it needed a degree in science to understand! lol

Funny you should say that, I just came across it. It almost seems too easy to be effective lol I`ll give it a go later though
