Lens Choice for Newbie

Hi,

Following on from a thread a few weeks back, I’ve decided on a camera (neither of the two I was considering).

The choice I have now is that It comes with one of two kit lenses; 15-45mm F3.5-5.6 or 18-55 F2.8-4. Is there one more preferable for a newbie?

I'm assuming this is a Fuji? The 18-55 is generally the better choice
 
18 - 55. You won't go wrong.
 
18-55 mine is virtually fixed to my XE 2,the only other one I would look at is the 18-135.
It is longer and slower than the 18-55 but can be bit more beneficial if you need a bit more length.
