Lens Cleaning Cloth Recommendations???

hi all! i am interested to know if anybody can strongly recommend a certain kind of lens cleaning cloth? the reason i ask this is because in the past whilst i have been cleaning some of my lens filters that some lens cloths can cause tiny hairline scratches to the glass even though they are proper lens cleaning cloths, these were some of the ones that came with an unbranded lens cleaning kit i purchased so i wondered if anybody could recommend a top cleaning cloth to use or even if anybody has a similar story to this?
 
I use one of the Spudz lens cleaning cloths and must say I have never had any problems with any scratches on the lens.
 
I use the optical cloths my other half gets with her glasses (and then she can't find them :lol::whistling: )

Think the last one I borrowed was a Kodak cloth
 
+1 for specs cloth. I use the one from my 'second pair free' glasses from a well known high street outlet!

I also found that the lens cleaning fluid I bought for my Police sunglasses worked a treat on a greasy smudge on one if my IR filters.
 
I use a combination of a glasses cleaning cloth (from Specsavers, which has Pentax printed on it!) and a Lenspen (which is great for a quick clean when out and about).
 
What happens when your spudz cloths gets dirty ? Can it be removed from its pouch to be washed??
I throw my 3M cleaning cloths in the washing machine and they come out looking brand new. Cheap too !

Just wash it with the pouch! Mine have'nt come to any harm.

just ordered & paid for both kinds (spudz & 3m) so should have plenty to last now, i find that cleaning filters with clothing can make them even oilier due to the fact of natural body oils rubbing onto clothing, some clothing materials are also quite hard (especially if you dont add softener to the load) & certain fabrics can actually make rub marks on glass when doing this, i actually learnt that from doing so myself by cleaning a brand new hoya HD 58mm polarizer on a polo neck t shirt of mine, that created quite a lot of faint rub marks to the glass, i have learnt not to do so now & to only use some microfibre cleaning cloths which is why i asked if anybody knew of a certain kind that was good in general as these cloths will also be for cleaning lenses & not just the filters, i am probably being too fussy but i have just spent around the £1500 mark on my lens collection (which is a lot of money on my wage) anyway i am sorted now & i hope others can find this thread useful too!
