Lens cleaning

This may sound like a silly question, but I've just bought a lens cleaning kit from jessops.
It contains lens cloth, lens tissues, bottle of lens cleaner some cotton buds and a rocket blower/soft brush.

How do I use the bottle of cleaner ? Do I put it the lens tissues then wipe the lens?

That would be the way I would do it - just a little on the cleaning cloth and go from there...

Just make sure that you've blown off any dust or dirt first. Otherwise you've created sandpaper !!

I tend to just use my t-shirt or whatever I'm wearing - never scratched a lens yet (just be careful there is no grit on the front) - and if necessary I'll breath on the lens to get a bit of moisture (climate depending).

Some stubborn marks do require a bit of fluid but that's pretty rare.
