You don't! .... is the simple answer. Just leave it alone and it will sort itself out.

Just leave it inside in the warm to aclimatise (sp?) You shouldnt bring a cold camera into a hot room really, as this happens.

wait till the glass adjusts to the temperature of the room is best :)

oke doke, whilst im on the subject, if the lens would ever need cleaning for whatever reason, how would this be done best?

Rocket blower to remove loose dust. Lens pen if it's only needing a "spot-clean".
Lens fluid if it needs an all-over clean with a "calotherm" type lens cloth.

All done very gently.

Hi Daryl, taking a cold lens into a warm room is like taking a cold beer out of the fridge except the lens is not sealed so the condensation will form on, and do long term harm to the inside of the lens. Cold gear brought into warm rooms should be kept in the kit bag for an hour or two or better sealed in a plastic bag.

When we do winter training sessions in Kew gardens tropical house we pre-heat the gear by throwing chemical handwarmers in the kit bag, warm camera, no problem.
