I have been using a 18 - 105 mm lens on an APSC camera. I am now using a full frame camera. What lens should I buy for the full frame camera that equates to the APSC lens? I get so confused about the crop factor conversion. Thanks in anticipation.

There isn't really a lens that exactly replicates this range. You can either go for the 24-120 or 28-105, or go a bit longer with a 28-200 from Nikon. If I had unlimited cash then I'd consider the current 24-120 f4, although I have an older 28-105 and suspect that is capable of better image quality. What's more important: widest range of focal lengths, quality or cost?

There is also the Sigma 24-105 to consider and Nikon 28-300. Neither are quite the equivalent of what you use now but nothing really is.

If you have a Nikon it's x 1.5 so 18-105 x 1.5 = 27-157.5mm.
If you have a Canon it's x 1.6 so 18-105 x 1.6 = 28.8-168mm.

:D

There are 28-200mm f3.5-5.6 lenses which would give you a slightly longer reach or you could go for a slightly shorter lens which may get you a smidgen more optical quality.
