I had a bit of an internal debate as to whether to post this or not, I don't want yet another bunch of "emperor's new clothes" debates or posts from philistines with no background knowledge trolling with "it's crap". OTOH I think it is good to have our expectations challenged and intelligent informed debate.

So in the hopes that this inspires a few folk here it is and I am going to be strongly moderating this thread so - READ THIS FIRST

I’ve not looked at all the project entrants but I’ve had a good look through and enjoyed the selection. As standalone images, ‘Not Lockdown in Tokyo City’ caught my eye (for some reason reminded me of Paul Hill’s Man in Snow), as did Wei Chih Wang’s underwater cliff. I also enjoyed the whimsy of the Dacia and Chauffeur project and the melancholy of the Excerpts project, but I really need to explore the other projects in more depth.

Yes, I thought of Paul Hill too. I really like the processing in Ruth Lauer Manenti's set.
