Lens Dilemma - Which to keep?

Lens dilemma, I have too many lenses and need to sell some. Its so easy to gather them up :-) I have the following;

Sigma 18-50mm f2.8

Nikon 18-200mm VR

Nikon 50mm f1.8

Nikon 70-210mm F4

I also recently bought a 2nd hand body with the following lens 18-105mm VR. So here is the thinking. I have too much overlap with my focal lengths.. I will keep the 50mm, for all its worth I like to have it to play with as its a f1.8. I have had the 18-200mm from new for about 3 years, and really like it, but I just bought the 70-210mm f4 (throughout) which is good also and does f4 at 210mm. I had thought just to sell the 18-105mm as I have no use, but thinking I could sell the 18-200mm keep the 18-105mm and get some extra cash back. I have also been offered a tokina 28-70mm f2.8 as a trade for my sigma. So I would have a 18-105mm for general stuff. 28-70mm covered with a f2.8 and 70-210mm covered at f4, although no VR

Does that sound like the right decision. I do like the 18-200mm it has been my stable lens for the past 3 years..

Any opinions
 
Hi Adam,
If I'd be in your shoes :) I'd keep 18-50/2.8 and 50/1.8 selling everything else in order to add a Tamron 70-300 VC. It's the best bang for the bucks, great IQ and great range. If the budget will fit I'd add also a Nikon 85/1.8 AF-D.

so you have 4 lenses and that is to many...hmm!!

i have over 20...now that is to many

ditch the 70-210

and as Mishu says get yourself a decent 85mm,thats one that you would never sell

70-200 sigma f2.8 a/f
70-200 sigma f4-5.6 a/f

also an assortment of 10 old KEPKOR,Hoya,KIRON and other lenses

they are all nikon fit

Thanks guy's but I find even the 50mm too tight in most instances, so couldn't see me using a 85mm at all..

PS Pmiddleditch.. you are a lens tart.. :-) I thought I was bad..
