was using my 5d II with the 24-105 /f4 L yday and for some reason it looked as though there was a problem with something stuck in the lens on the sides - Like major vingetting but it looked as though something had fallen or broken off inside this was when it was at 24mm till around 40ish mm..
took it off checked my other lenses an these were perfectly fine, put it back on still not working properly so I used it zoomed in a bit more so i didnt get the major artifacts, then zoomed out, in out in out etc and it was fine!!! really weird, took the camera, lens and my other lens to canon today to get that one checked over in warranty and the body and lenses calibrated as well...
lets hope it comes back ok, will upload a few pics to show what happened once I download them to the pc....
