Hi Guys i Currently have

canon 50mm 1.8 and a sigma 10-20mm lenses

Can you help me what lens filter to buy? are they worth it?

i am worried they will change the sharpness of the image etc

Hoya HMC multicoated uv filters will protect your lenses if you use them in messy places and not spoil your images unless you are shooting towards light sources.
7dayshop sell them at the right price.

I'd be wary. I've had bad experiences with cheap B+W MRC's off ebay.... I'll say no more as I can't prove anything, but they didn't take good piccies when on the lens :(
 
Mine was a UK purchase too....
