Hello I'm
New to photography and looking at hiring a lens this year anysites or lenses you advise as I want the best chance to catch good quality pictures I will be using a canon 500d thank you
 
Which circuit? Which corner? What do you want to capture? A frame filling shot of an F1 car, or an atmospheric shot full of crowd, skies and the car is a lesser element of the shot?

Assuming a nice day, a Canon 70-300L or 100-400L would be OK, giving flexibility and reasonable results. 500D has plenty of cropping power as well.
