Can anybody recommend a quality L glass that will do the job of studio flower photography and be usuable to occasionally photograph models in a studio.
I'm running a 5D mk2 so definately only L glass. Have thought about the 24-70 F2.8

The 24-70mm 2.8L is the muts nuts in the studio! That is it's natural home... In fact I would recommend it full stop. It does everything, except telephoto, with aplomb especially on your body. Plus it is also a decent macro lens too! need I say more?

yep the 24-70 is good in the studio, closely followed by the 17-40 and 16-35 MK II

Thanks Andy, Have not checked out the 16-35 yet, Will look later

I think there is a nice Sigma Canon fit 24-70mm f2.8 on the forsale bit on this forum. May be worth a look
