Hello again,
I have been given a Hanimex Hmc Macro Zoom 28-200mm
f4.0-5.6 lens.
It's in perfect condition boxed,with instructions,caps etc
and I thought it might fit my d90,just to try it out.
It does'nt fit the d90.
On the box it states it's for Universal...U.
A friend paid a pound for it,which is maybe what it's
worth but it looks so nice,I'm hoping somebody out there
can give me some info regarding it.
Cheers Steve.

Is it a screw thread? If so I am going to guess at T2 mount or M42

Hi Steve

If you look at the end of the lens, where it connects to the camera body, is it a screw thread or is it a bayonet type fitting. Hope this helps

Ok a little ebay use shows me that Hanimex lenses were made for just about every lens mount available, therefore without a picture of the lens end I really can't help you sorry.

We need a picture of the end which attaches to the camera please and maybe a width in mm of the mount if it's a screw. Also are there any letters or numbers (there really small usually) stamped onto the mount or surrounding area?

Iv'e taken pics of the lens and have stored in my
pc....however no idea of how to get them up on
this site and attached them to a thread, sorry for being
such a thick ****.Steve.

No worries load them to a free photo uploader such as photobucket and then simply paste the link here for really easy image posting

Does the lens mount rotate independently of the lens, if you grip the lens the bit under the part that zooms can you rotate the mount, if so it's a fd canon lens
