Hi All
This is my second post as I'm new and finding my way around, this subject has probably been done a hundred times but:
Where do you find out about lenses? both my Son and I have Nikons [D80 & D40x] but have no knowledge of what lenses to purchase.
I like wildlife photography and have purchased a bigma as it was recommended but other than the two kit lenses that the camera's came with that's it.
My Son says he's interested in macro photography and I'd like something else better than the D80 kit lens but smaller than the bigma, something that is good generally [portraits, car shows and country walks etc].
We don't understand how the number/letter system works and how some lenses are a fortune and others aren't
Help & advice really appreciated please.
