Lens kit choice?

Hi, I'm pretty sure that I'm gonna upgrade my D500 to a Canon D7 my only decision now is what lens kit
1. 7D + 18-135 Kit
2. 7D + 15-85 Kit

Option 2 is £250 more suggesting that this is the better option.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I have the same camera as you and am planning the same. Opt 2 all the way. Everything I have read on hear about the 15-85 has been good.

just thought Id make a plug, I have my 7d in classifieds on here (its in mint condition), youd be able to afford that with the 18-135 for less than the cost of a second hand body, and still have money leftover for another lens....

ps the 7D is a great camera and you wont regret the upgrade...
 
It depends on what you're going to be shooting the most. Only you can decide in the end if you want the the extra reach of the 135 or the extra wideness of the 15. From the reviews I've read the 15-85 sounds a little better but it's up to you for the preferance.
 
I have the 18-135, but since I have a tele zoom (55-250) now, I'm looking to swap the 18-135 for the 15-85 for wider end and better IQ.
