I purchased a Nikon 50mm E series lens for my nikon d40.
Attached it, turned the camera on, and it says lens not attached.
Took it off, cleaned the attachments and reattached it but still the same. I've tried fiddling wih the settings before applying it etc.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I did google around to check that the lens did work on a nikon d40 in manual, but never have much luck >_>
