Lens pouches - any recommendations?

I really like the form factor of the Pentax lens pouches:

But they are rather pricey. I'm tempted to try and make some to be honest, but I was just wondering if anyone knew of a cheaper copy?

I got some Matin pouches from China for £1.60 a pop and the quality's good but I'm not so keen on the design - they're a bit awkward to get lenses in and out of...

Has anyone got any decent suggestions?

Hi

I've just replied to your other thread about these http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=409929

Are these for storage or for when you are carying them ?

I've a couple of the Lowepro lens cases - these are available in different sizes to suit your lens and are well padded. Tamrac also produce some very good lens cases.

The Lowepro lens cases I have are fairly easy to insert / remove the lens from and I would have thought offer a lot more protection than the pouch.

Thanks Andy. That thread seemed to be going down the direction of how to make a bag suitable, but I would prefer to get individual lens protection so I can switch bags if necessary. I'll check out the Tamracs.
My main problem is that the lens pouches I have already cost less than £2 andso I can't see the point in paying more than a fiver for any others.

Are you thinking of using these for storing your lens in at home ?

Thanks Andy - those links are useful. As I say, I like the pentax format, but I can't find that anywhere, so Lowepro and Tamrac look like good substitutes at a better price.

I generally keep my lenses out on a shelf at home. The pouches are only for travel.
