Hi, not been on here in a while, I've got a question about a problem I've been having with one of my lenses. The camera is a Canon 450D, lens in question is a Tamron AF70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di. I take pictures at my local stock car track and have the camera in 'Sport' mode, usually get 1 or 2 pictures and then it will come up with an error message that says 'Err 1' and then (can't remember the exact wording) that the connection between the camera and lens has been lost and that the contacts should be cleaned. Cleaning the contacts seems to allow you to take about another 10/15 pictures and then the same error comes up again. Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if so, is it fixable or will a new lens be required? Haven't got this problem with the other lens.
