lens Reccomendations Plz

Hi Folks,

have just joined the community and have read a number of threads with great interest.

Am looking for some advice please. I have a sony a series camera with a 18/70 and a 75/300 lenses. I am interested in wildlife and sport photos what telephoto lenses would you reccomend. My maximum price is £750. I would be very interested in forum advice and views.

I had a minolta a while back, was great so enjoy the sony


I'd be looking for 300-500mm max.. Sigma 50-500mm is around that sort of price range... meant to be really good and fast.

Have a look on sonys site for some lenses, then over to flickr to compare photos.

For that sort of money it may be best to borrow a lens or two before you decide on buying. At least you can get a feel for the lens and whether it will do what you need.
