Does anyone on here get involved with the complete mechanics of lenses, from simple cleaning, right through to servicing, and possibly altering or adapting them?
I only ask, because there are so many lenses which could be put to good use again on DSLRs. As a Sony user, I am about to attempt to convert two Minolta MD lenses to work on the Sony A700, following the instructions found on another site, well known to Minolta/Sony users.
Luckily I have a few useful tools left over from model making days, but any advice would be welcomed.
