I'm a bit stuck...
My Canon 24-70 f/2.8L MK1 recently gave up (aperture flex cable I think) and I haven't been able to find anywhere that can service it due to its age. I've ended up buying another lens to replace that for now, however, I would like to get it repaired eventually. I've also found that my Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS MK1 seems to be too old to service as well, at least by Fixation.
Can anyone recommend any camera servicing provider that is able to repair/maintain these older lenses? My 70-200 works fine for now, but it is an old lens and there is sand in the focus ring. I don't want it to clunk out on me without warning i.e. at a wedding!
