Lens suitable for D2X

Hi I am after a question answering if possible, should the following lenses work on a D2X.

Tamron 70-300f4 VC USD
Nikon 18-55F3.5 DX VR
Nikon 55-200F4 DX VR

It's a DX (1.5x crop) body so should be fine with a nikon dx lens - a tamron lens designed for nikon should be fine

Also would a flat battery stop the TFT screen working and also stop the motorised lenses from working, I think the charger is doa

I use a D2x and yep, Any Nikon compatible lens works fine including the latest ones. There is a second battery (button type) located just inside the main battery compartment at the top (just in case you didn't spot it) And yes if the main battery is dead or flat nothing will work? Mine has the shutter fault ( first shot dosn't cycle correctly then works fine) A common fault but hasn't caused any issues in the past 4 years despite still doing it LOL Images out of the D2 are amazing though, the color and contrast are quite unique Also firmware updates on Nikons site are still appearing so worth checking and updating. And despite it's age you can still use it with teathering software and such digital tom foolery

Shot with the D2x last week using an old Zeiss 35mm and M42 adapter

All 3 lenses you mentioned I have and all work fine.
