lens upgrade or not

hi all just been looking at the Sigma 17-50mm f2.8 EX DC OS HSM Lens,at that end of the range i have a 35mm f1.8 and the kit lens Nikon AF-S 18-70mm F3.5-4.5,would it make sense to sell the two lenses and purchase the sigma ,advice appreciated as always

The 18-70 is a lovely lens from what I have read. I would keep it myself.

thanks rain cloud,its just that i do like zooms and it would make a little less to carry as well ,but i dont want to compromise on quality

I'd deffo keep the 35;don't really know if the Sigma would be that much of an improvement over the Nikon(constant 2.8 aside).
