Lens upgrade

Im looking at upgrading my lens already, i want a wide angle lens that has a decent zoom, i feel mine is limiting me.

I know soon enough im going to try star trails and im told me lens will limit me, also when the next meteor shower hits my lens wont be capable of catching this properly.

Also my zoom capability is pretty poor.

I have a Nikon D40x with an 18-55mm kit lens.

So you’re saying that you want a wide angle zoom? then I’d recommend a Sigma 10-20.

Nah, after considering what im actually shooting i think my lens is good enough, if anything i need some help with a zoom lens. But not just yet, i think i need to calm my spending and get on with my learning.
