Just wanted some recommendations for a waterproof cover. I shoot with a D7100 and often have a 70-300 attached. I need to find something that isn't over the top and fits this setup as best as possible. I know there are all sorts you can get, most of the ones i've found are for cameras/lens setups that are as long as my arm.

Bin liner and rubber bands have sufficed in the past, just wanted something a little more er...water tight :) Its often the case i might be in the middle of a field some where and end up chucking the camera under my coat and wondering off to find cover, which can be annoying as i'll miss the shots i want.

There are some on WEX i've found for £50, but that seems quite a lot of money for a bit of fabric with a few ties on it. That said, i know its best not to skimp when you are protecting an expensive camera...but there must be a few bargains to be had :)

Same here, I bought a couple of the flash fitting and a couple of the non flash fitting ones thinking I'd have to bin them after 1 use. I'm still using the first sleeve I opened and have used it 5 or 6 times so far. They're stronger than I thought they would be, and at around £6 a pair you can't go wrong for the occasions you get caught out by the weather.

If you are using the camera all day every day outdoors in poor weather then you'd want something more substantial though and then it'd be worth thinking of the 'think tank hydrophobia', but they're a lot more expensive.
